Brain tumors

Radiotherapy is being used not only in treating malignant tumors like astrocytoma , Glioblastoma among others but also benign conditions like meningioma, Glomus jugulare, Schwannoma. It can be conventional radiation or may be high precision radiation like SRS or SRT as applicable.

Head and Neck cancer

Head and neck cancer is one of the most common cancers in India.
Radiation therapy is one of the main modalities of Head and neck cancer treatment either in upfront or in post operative settings sometime with or without chemotherapy.

Breast cancer

Radiotherapy is an integral part of breast cancer treatment . It is mandatory after breast conservation and most of the cases after mastectomy also. For Breast cancer treatment DIBH technique is used so that heart dose is limited and chance or cardiac toxicities are much lesser in future.

Lung cancer

Lung cancer if diagnosed in an early stage can be treated with SBRT where limited fraction of high dose of radiation is given to the specific target, by which cure rate is high but toxicities are much lesser. SBRT can be used for small lung metastasis also. For locally advanced Lung cancer Radiation mostly given with concurrent chemotherapy.
